What is this?
New Eye Productions is a Des Moines, Iowa based video agency founded by me, Maxwell J. Mootz, that specializes in live event captures, music, marketing, and legacy videos. My goal is to provide others with the visual voice needed to be heard and remembered by those around them.
I aim to deliver a style that is not only appropriate for the client at hand, but also gives the piece a film-grade feel that can grab viewers in a theater-like manner via digital means.

Why This Outlet?
Motion picture has long stood as a lively form in bringing sight and sound together. At its birth, it was clear that it was meant to tell stories, both real and imagined. It grabs the two biggest senses at once, and if one or the other is not in touch, the story still comes across. Few others share this combination, and it allows the art of video production to stand out.
In my practice, this combination is used to create an original piece (or set of pieces) that gets across the team or individual's message through an effective call-to-action video or captured event.

Its mix of urban and rural areas is an aspect that makes it stick out beautifully, and it caters well to independent artists, organizations, and elders who want a relaxed location to live, among others.

Grade Over Amount - A Core Belief
It is firmly believed that better gear does not lead to better media, and this extends into my cut-to-the-chase approach (no pun intended!) in the final work.
